Push-to-Connect Fittings — Brass Body

Push-to-connect plumbing fittings — known generically in the industry by trade names like SharkBite — have transformed residential plumbing by eliminating the need for soldering, crimping tools, or specialized PEX equipment during emergency repairs, fixture changes, and DIY installation. Our push-to-connect brass fittings use a stainless-steel grab ring with internal teeth that bite into the inserted tubing OD to prevent pull-out, combined with an EPDM O-ring that provides the water seal. Insertion is one-step: cut the tubing square, push the fitting on until the depth-gauge mark is hidden, and the connection is complete and pressure-rated. Disconnection requires a special release tool that compresses the grab ring (we supply tools as accessories). The fitting body is C27450 lead-free brass, NSF 61 and NSF 372 certified for potable water — required for installation in California, Vermont, and other lead-restricted jurisdictions. Each fitting accepts copper (Type K, L, M), CPVC, PEX-A, PEX-B, PEX-C, and PE-RT tubing of the matching nominal OD — meaning a single fitting works across material transitions without adapters (e.g., copper supply to PEX distribution). Sizes are 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", and 1" OD. Working pressure is 200 PSI at 73°F and 100 PSI at 180°F. The complete geometry range is available: straight couplings, 90° and 45° elbows, equal and reducing tees, straight reducers, end caps, and integrated ball valves. Underground burial-rated and concrete-encased variants are available for specific applications. Bulk and retail packaging available; ASSE 1061 listing applies to all sizes.
