Forged brass pipe fittings remain the workhorse pressure-rated fitting in commercial plumbing, gas distribution, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems where threaded connections are preferred for serviceability and field-installation flexibility. We supply the complete range of ASME B16.15 compliant fittings — 90° elbows (both regular and street-pattern), 45° elbows, equal tees, reducing tees, equal crosses, straight couplings, reducing couplings, full and half couplings, hex-head plugs and bushings, caps, and unions with brass or stainless metal-to-metal seats. Standard production is C37700 (CuZn40Pb2) forging brass, with C27450 lead-free brass available on request for any plumbing application where potable water contact will occur.
Sizes run from 1/8" through 4" NPT, with parallel-thread BSPP and tapered BSPT variants available for international applications. Working pressure is 1,000 PSI for sizes 1" and smaller, 500 PSI through 2", and 300 PSI for 2-1/2" through 4". Threads are produced to ANSI B1.20.1 (NPT) and BS EN 10226 (BSPT) with 6H tolerance, and 100% gauge-verified using ring and plug gauges before packaging.
Forging blanks are produced on our partner facility's 400-ton vertical hydraulic presses for sizes up to 1-1/2" and 600-ton presses for larger sizes — near-net-shape forging reduces machining time and increases grain alignment for higher fatigue resistance compared to bar-stock machined fittings. Finish options include natural, chrome-plated for fixture and exposed applications, nickel-plated for corrosion resistance, and hot-dip tin for food-and-beverage industries. Each production lot ships with a Certificate of Conformance and full alloy traceability back to the original melt.
