Angle stop valves — also called supply stops or shut-off valves — are the small quarter-turn or compression-stem valves installed under sinks, behind toilets, and at washing machine connections to isolate individual fixtures from the main plumbing supply for service and emergency shutoff. Our quarter-turn angle stops feature a chrome-plated brass body forged from C37700 (or C27450 lead-free for NSF 61 service), with a polished brass ball offset-drilled for the supply tube outlet at 90° to the inlet. The 1/4-turn operation between full-open and full-closed eliminates the slow-leaking compression-stem failures common in older multi-turn valves.
Standard configuration is 1/2" IPS (Iron Pipe Size) female threaded inlet for connection to copper sweat adapters or PEX adapters in the wall, with 3/8" OD or 1/2" OD compression outlet for connection to the flexible supply tube serving the fixture. We also offer push-to-connect inlet versions for 1/2" PEX, 1/2" CPVC, and 1/2" copper tubing — eliminating the need for sweat fittings in the wall during retrofit work. All angle stops meet ASSE 1035 dimensional and performance requirements.
NSF 61 and NSF 372 lead-free variants are required by California, Vermont, Maryland, Louisiana, and Massachusetts plumbing codes (and recommended elsewhere). Bright chrome plating is the high-volume retail finish for under-sink visibility, with rough-brass and brushed-nickel options available for visible installations. Private-label retail programs include blister-pack packaging with installation diagrams and complete kits (angle stop + supply tube + compression nuts) for retail hardware chain shelf positions.
