Rotolock Service Valve Connections

Rotolock service valve connections — sometimes called swivel-flare or seal-cap connections — provide a high-pressure refrigerant interface between compressor/condenser equipment and field-installed refrigerant piping in commercial and industrial HVACR systems. The female threaded body brazes or bolts onto the equipment refrigerant port, while the male swivel nut accepts a copper tube stub that has been flared to the matching geometry. The swivel design allows the tube to be rotated during installation without unscrewing the seal, simplifying installation in tight equipment compartments. Our rotolock connections are forged from C37700 brass for the body and CNC-machined from C36000 brass for the swivel nut, providing the work-hardening behavior needed for repeated service cycles. Sizes are 1-1/4", 1-3/8", 1-5/8", and 2-1/8" OD — covering the standard refrigerant line sizes for commercial split systems, packaged rooftop units, and industrial refrigeration racks. Working pressure ratings are 450 PSI for suction-side service and 650 PSI for discharge-side service, conforming to ARI Standard 495 requirements. The thread form is SAE J513-compatible for cross-compatibility with major OEM equipment from Copeland, Bitzer, Bristol, Tecumseh, Carrier, Trane, and York. Each connection ships with a matching brass cap, a copper-clad steel washer (or PTFE depending on application), and the matching swivel nut. Production traceability documentation is provided per lot, with material test reports available on request for projects requiring full QA documentation. Refrigerants compatible across the range include R-410A, R-22 (legacy), R-32, R-454B, R-134a, R-404A, and R-407C.
