Deck Drains & Scupper Fittings

Deck drains, scuppers, and overboard discharge fittings provide the controlled drainage paths for water that accumulates on deck (rain, spray, washdown) or that must be discharged overboard from interior spaces (sinks, showers, water-tank overflows, gray water). Deck drains are installed in the deck or cockpit floor and lead via flexible hose to a through-hull or scupper for overboard discharge. Scuppers are simpler open-air discharge fittings that pass directly through the topsides or transom without intermediate hose. Both fitting types must be corrosion-resistant in the marine environment, hold up to UV exposure, prevent debris ingress (leaves, insects, fouling), and maintain a positive seal against backflow when the boat heels or pitches. Our deck drains and scuppers are produced from C36000 free-machining brass with chrome plating for cosmetic appeal, with C65500 silicon bronze variants available for matched-alloy below-waterline installations. Sizes are 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1-1/4", and 1-1/2" hose-barb or threaded inlet. Flush-mount deck drains include a removable strainer to prevent debris ingress; threaded inlet variants accept standard NPT plumbing. Scupper variants include integral one-way flap or duckbill check valves to prevent water ingress when the boat is heeled hard or in rough seas. Chrome-plated finish is standard for above-waterline applications; mirror-polished bronze available for traditional varnished-deck installations.
