High-pressure forged brass pipe fittings rated 3000# class per ASME B16.11 are designed for instrument piping, process control system tubing, and small-bore high-pressure applications in oil & gas production, refining, petrochemical, and chemical processing facilities where pressure ratings beyond standard 1000# brass fittings are required. The 3000# class designation indicates a working pressure rating of 3,000 PSIG at 100°F for the largest sizes in the range, with derated pressure curves at elevated temperatures (we provide P/T derating data with each shipment per ASME B16.11 requirements). Our 3000# forged brass fittings are produced from C37700 forging brass conforming to ASTM B283 chemistry and mechanical property requirements, forged on our partner facility's 600-ton hydraulic presses to near-net-shape, then CNC-machined for thread and dimensional precision. Sizes range from 1/4" through 3" NPT female or socket-weld geometry, covering all standard instrument tubing sizes. The complete fitting geometry range is offered: 90° elbows, 45° elbows, equal tees, reducing tees, equal crosses, straight couplings, reducing couplings, half couplings, plugs (hex head and square head), bushings (hex head), and caps. Threading is to ANSI B1.20.1 (NPT) with 6H tolerance, 100% gauge-verified. Material certifications (Material Test Reports per EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 standard) are supplied with every shipment. The MSS SP-83 design standard supplements ASME B16.11 for additional dimensional consistency. Service media compatibility includes natural gas, LP gas, fuel oil, lubricating oil, hydraulic fluid, instrument air, and most non-corrosive process gases. Service in sour gas (H2S) environments requires specific chemistry control beyond standard C37700 — please specify in RFQ.
